Morocco (Taghazout & Beyond)
Long before Tamara and I crossed paths in 2018 to begin our shared journeys, this trip to Taghazout helped lay the foundation for a lifelong passion for documenting the world. As a defining chapter of "The Early Archives", this adventure with a work friend traded the standard office routine for the raw, magnetic energy of the North African coast. We headed straight for the water, immersing ourselves in the local culture, discovering incredible new foods, and finding a completely different rhythm by the ocean.
Highlights from the Moroccan Archives
Golden Hour Uninterrupted: Chasing the perfect light where the rugged desert meets the rolling waves of the Atlantic. Paddling out with a colleague provided the ultimate reset, with Taghazout offering some of the most consistent, world-class surf breaks in the region.
Colors of the Coast & Culinary Discoveries: Stepping out of our everyday comfort zones to dive into Morocco's rich, aromatic food scene. From sharing steaming clay tagines packed with local spices to trying fresh coastal seafood and endless pours of traditional sweet mint tea, the flavors were as vibrant as the bustling streets.
Where the Vision Began: Capturing the unfiltered energy of the local surf culture and the sun-drenched architecture. These early escapes proved that investing in a flight and new experiences will always outweigh spending money on fleeting luxuries.
