Our Story
Since we first crossed paths in 2018, our shared ethos has been simple: staying in one place is just too boring. While we call London our home, our true passion lies in exploring new environments, whether that means uncovering hidden gems across the UK or venturing across the globe. We realised early on that combining our love of discovery with our unique cultural backgrounds and professional skills gave us a completely different way of experiencing the world.
Meet Tamara
Tamara brings a truly global perspective to our journeys. Born in Russia to a Polish mother and a Colombian father, she is a natural explorer with a deep appreciation for different cultures. After completing her Master of Arts in Digital Media Arts at Brighton University, she now works at King's Cross in a role that offers fantastic travel benefits, fueling our ongoing adventures. Her ability to speak Spanish, English, French, Russian, and Polish makes navigating international borders and connecting with locals completely effortless.
Meet Tom
With a half-British and half-Irish background, Tom is the creative eye behind the website. Working as a professional photographer and videographer since 2012, he captures our travels in stunning cinematic detail. Exploring new locations is not just a passion but a professional pursuit, as capturing unique environments enables him to produce high-quality media that sells well on platforms. Whether framing a landscape or capturing smooth walkthroughs, travel provides the ultimate canvas for his creative work.
Why We Travel
It is so easy to feel trapped by the daily routine of work and fall into the mindset of waiting until retirement to finally explore. We take a different approach, seizing every possible chance to travel right now. Life moves incredibly fast, and we know we would deeply regret postponing our adventures until we are older and perhaps less able to experience them fully. The adventures you have when you are younger fundamentally change your entire perspective on life. We have learned the true difference between spending money on fleeting luxuries, such as a fancy dinner in a London restaurant, compared to travelling the globe. A remarkably expensive meal is something you will likely forget in a few years, but the memories, lessons, and experiences gained from travelling stay with you forever.
